Parents/guardians have the option of joining your camper on Friday’s kayaking adventure (additional $35 fee required and limited to one parent).

Birding By Ear Workshop
Have you been wanting to learn more about bird calls, to identify those pesky birds that hide in the brush? Join Becky Skiba from the NC Wildlife Resources Commission and Andy Fairbanks from Halyburton Park in our Birding by Ear workshop to hone your bird call skills. A classroom presentation will be held on 5/5 at the events center introducing bird songs, mnemonics and other tips for learning. The field experience will be held on 5/6 at Carolina Beach State Park.
